Audrey + Eric

Audrey is the best kind of bride - she knew exactly what she wanted, but she was totally open to suggestions for polishing up her vision. Eric was the best kind of groom - he knew what he wanted on the menu and he completely supported Audrey's ideas and vision for their wedding day. I loved helping Audrey blend Nashville with New Orleans to bring both her and Eric's lives together in one room. I especially loved that they planned every detail with their guests in mind, from the Cajun inspired menu, to the welcome bags, and all the details in between. 

Darby Cards knows the way to my heart and seriously knows her way around paper goods. Audrey asked for traditional wording with a modern texture and that beautiful combination is exactly what Darby gave her. 

It's no secret that Green Door Gourmet is one of my absolute favorites in Nashville. Every little well thought out piece makes the day a dream for couples who love the outdoor vibes, locally grown flowers and beautiful scenery. Added bonus: portraits in a greenhouse!

And then there's the oh-so-talented Christie (The Farmer's Florist). Audrey and Eric really live by doing things as natural and as locally grown as possible so having their friends and family at Green Door, in a room filled with locally grown flowers and food was just perfect. 

We put a lot of thought into the color and texture combinations that guests would be greeted with at each table. Audrey (and her neutral loving heart) wanted the room to feel elegant but not stuffy so we used a collection of beautiful gold items from Southern Events paired with tables named after important cities from throughout their relationship. But don't let the beautiful gold place settings fool you, guests enjoyed a wide variety of Cajun and southern comfort food including a biscuit bar from Chef and I.
