Stephanie + Jordan
College sweethearts make for some of the best love stories. And Jordan and Stephanie are the type of couple that reminds you what love is all about. They’re full of energy, have crazy good style and literally stare at each other with heart eyes. We were SO excited for their wedding day because we knew the party would be so-dang-good, the dance floor would be packed and the energy would be high. Their crowd definitely lived up to those expectations!
A big wedding on a sunny August day in Nashville = Amazing. Add in morning mimosas and socks with the bride’s face on them and we had perfection.
Early in the design process we decided that “blue” would be the color of the day. All shades of blue, from “ice” to “navy” and everything in between provided a light and airy summer feel with a modern touch.
Stephanie and Jordan chose the beautiful island at The Barn At Sycamore Farms for the their ceremony. Surrounded by the water, the sunshine, the sound of a harp and their family and friends Jordan and Stephanie said “yes!” to forever. It was all the emotions from tears to laughs and everything in between. And that reaction to his bride…. comeee onnn. #love
In true Sutlan + Co. fashion, we put candles everywhere. Fresh Weddings By CarryAnn created the perfect bouquets and centerpieces filled with whites and greenery to balance the shades of blue throughout the room and the warm candlelight.
Pink Blossom Bakery created a completely custom cake to match Stephanie’s vision. Custom (and beautiful) cake lace on the top layer, a middle tier that was color matched exactly to the color of the table linens and a pleated bottom layer made for the perfect piece of art, I mean cake.
Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, Stephanie and Jordan!
